Faces of a Ladybug Waterfall RAK

I am part of a Facebook group that encourages creating our cards for others in Jesus’ name. You can call it a Random Act of Kindness (RAK) card. Each month there is a post that people can comment on providing the name and address of someone that could use some cheering up. One person had a special request for a relative. I will not disclose anything personal, but based on what I read, I knew an interactive, cheerful card was in order. That inspiration is shown here – a waterfall card with the many faces of a sweet little ladybug. I just know the recipient is going to love it and being able to bring a smile to someone’s face is the greatest blessing for me.

Frog Waterfall for a Shy Boy

There is the cutest little guy I know who will be turning 2 soon. He doesn’t really talk to me…but sometimes I can get a smile out of his little face. I’m hoping to get on his good side with a fun, interactive Waterfall card.  I am not above bribery. Links to some of my other Waterfall cards and the directions are at the end of this post.

Waterfall by the Seaside

I am in constant giggles over the fun fish in this Seaside Shore stamp set. And to think it wasn’t on my radar until my mom was leafing through the Annual Catalog and came across the By the Shore Suite (pages 92-93). She took one look and exclaimed, “Oh! I really like this!” So, using any excuse to buy more products, I decided I should get it…just for Mom, of course.

I adore making waterfall cards, so that is what I chose to make for a swap I signed up to do. The requirement was to make a “WOW” card…either a fancy fold or technique. Camo & Banners

I have a coworker that asked me to make a Birthday card for her to give her Son-in-Law.  I naively asked if he had a favorite color or hobby.  He likes camouflage and guns.  Why do guys have to be so difficult to stamp for?  So, here is my version of a camo card.  She was specific on what she wanted it to say, so I printed the words on my computer using the Stencil font.  I really like the new Triple Banner Punch.  I used the Tip Top Taupe banner as a template on the burlap ribbon to achieve the same degree of point on it.  Just used the cuts-like-buttah Craft Scissors.  What do you think?  I’ll find out tomorrow if she likes it…

Sneak Peek of the Mini Treat Bag!

OMGoodness! I love this Mini Treat Bag Thinlits collection from Stampin’ Up! It will be available in the upcoming 2015 Occasions Catalog.   The stamp on it is the only non-su item, but that is because I used the world map Typeset DSP and wanted a Christmas stamp with “Joy to the World” on it. I foresee me making lots of treat bags with this set of dies!
