With Sympathy

I dislike having to make sympathy cards and, unfortunately, I’ve had to make quite a lot lately.  Today’s card uses the sponging technique to provide a soft, nature-styled background for the wildflowers stamp in Serene Silhouettes.  To create the flagged ends on the sentiment, I placed a small square sticky note on the ends, just the way I wanted it cut and then used the square punch.

Graduation Time for Marcus!

I can’t believe my little man is already 18 and will graduate in less than a month! I made his Graduation Announcements and, even though there are no Stampin’ Up products used, I still have to show off my hard work 🙂

Here’s the front. I made a belly band to keep it closed.

And here’s the inside…ta da!

Marcus picked out his Senior picture to use. I wanted to add his Mr. Blossomtime Pageant photo, too 🙂  The musical staff is because he plays alto sax and the little school house on the right is because he plans on being a High School teacher.

I’m so proud of him!
