Quick and Easy Get Well Butterflies

Today’s card is super quick and easy with pretty die cutting details and wooden butterfly embellishments that I colored in Rich Razzleberry with a sponge dauber.

Lasting Sympathy in Mango

As promised, here’s another color scheme with the same basic layout as yesterday’s card. This stamp set is so pretty and I’m so glad I gave in and got the suite.  Hunter said she liked the Gorgeous Grape card from yesterday more, but I feel drawn to this pretty Mango Melody flowers.

Lasting Sympathy in Heather

The more I use the Floral Romance suite on pages 10-11 in the Occasions catalog, the more I adore it. It was made for Stampin’ Blends. I decided to use Vellum cardstock for the backdrop and wanted it to have a little texture, so I ran it through the Big Shot in the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder both directions – once vertically, then horizontally. I really like the aged look it gives. I’ll have another to show you tomorrow in a different color scheme.

Romantic Vellum & Blends

The Floral Romance suite on pages 10-11 of the Occasions Catalog includes the most beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have wonderful memories of cards my mother used to give me for my Birthdays and other special holidays. She knew I loved the crinkly sound of vellum and the softness of the paper. I still have some packed away in memory boxes. I just had to get this DSP. I also love the rustic, romantic look of the Floral Romance Seals and the crispness of the Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder. These were the three items I pre-ordered back in December. It took a little time for me to warm up to the stamps and dies. But the internet always rescues – so many samples to Pin! Have no fear, though, because those are set to arrive this Wednesday! I learned long ago that I need to get all the pieces of coordinating suites.
