Lasting Lily Wishing You Well

Tomorrow is the big day! All the items I’ve been sharing with you from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure will be available to you! Today’s sneak peek is the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Lasting Lily. This 16 piece photopolymer set is part of Stampin’ Up!’s DistINKtive stamps line, which have the unique ability to apply color in differing degrees so one stamp shows many shades. They are so pretty! Most items in the Sale-a-Bration brochure are free with a $50 product purchase. But because this is a larger stamp set, you can earn it with a $100 purchase. It is so worth it – there are two different lilies with stems and leaves as well as 10 sentiments! I will be using this set for my Easter cards this year.

Wishing You Merlot Glimmer Greetings

The stamp set used on today’s card is called Wishing You Well. It’s hidden on page 35 of the Holiday catalog. I say “hidden” because it’s one of those sets that I skimmed right past without really looking at it. Most likely because of the quiet tones used in the sample. But, as it usually goes with me, I started seeing such pretty cards online. The more ideas I saw, the more I wanted it. And so it goes…

Wishing You Well is part of Stampin’ Up!’s line of Distinktive Stamps. These stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity. This really shines through with the organza style bow. Simply beautiful and so easy to achieve! Another nice feature of this stamp set is that it can be used all year round – the sprig can be stamped in Crushed Curry to resemble wheat or it can be stamped in any shade of green and bright flowers can be added. So many possibilities with this one beautiful set!
Wishing You WellI decided to go bold with this card and I must say I am absolutely smitten with the gorgeous, deep tones of the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper. It brings such a richness to any project. The Joyous Noel Suite can be found on pages 28-29. I initially ordered just the glimmer paper from this suite, but since then have also ordered the coordinating Specialty Designer Series Paper, Merry Merlot & Copper Ribbon, and the Sprig Punch. Can’t wait to get those in my hands! But, since I don’t have those products yet, I decided to use the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, which is part of the suite on pages 12-13.
Wishing You Merlot Glimmer Greetings
I also chose to use the Metallic Pearls as the perfect details for the wreath. They are tiny, but easy to add to the project with our Take Your Pick tool using the spatula option.
Take Your Pick ToolThis is such a quick and easy card – no Big Shot necessary, as the bow is fussy-cut by hand the circle is a punch. Now you have no excuses not to send out hand-made-with-love cards this season. I hope you’ve had a chance to look through the Holiday catalog and get some of the products into your hands – Christmas will be here in 53 days!
