Enduring Beauty Bundle in Bold Pinks

I told you I am in love with the Enduring Beauty Bundle on pages 38-39 of the January – April 2024 mini catalog! This red beauty uses Melon Mambo and Sweet Sorbet for the flowers along with the same Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green used in the purple cards yesterday. I blended the pinks a little more this time. It’s very bold and I am loving it! More Wink of Stella on the flowers, too!

Enduring Beauty Bundle in Purples

I am in love with the Enduring Beauty Bundle on pages 38-39 of the January – April 2024 mini catalog. It consists of the stamp set, coordinating dies and decorative masks. What a fun and beautiful alternative option to using Stampin’ Blends markers or any other number of coloring options. The Masks are numbered 1 through 5, but you don’t have to use them in that order. I used the two flower masks first – #1 with base color Highland Heather and #3 with the accents in Gorgeous Grape. Then I used the two leaf masks – #2 with Lemon Lime Twist and #4 with the accents in Granny Apple Green. I opted to not use mask #5 since that is for the pistil and the stamping in black was deep enough. I’ll definitely use it, though, when I create the flowers without stamping the outline in black. Topping all the flowers with Wink of Stella was a must! I chose to make 3 cards in the purple shades – which layout is your favorite? I’m partial to the second picture – with the layer of Gorgeous Grape. You will definitely be seeing more of this bundle in the future!

Perfect Plum Painted Harvest

I can’t get enough of this Painted Harvest stamp set! It is so beyond versatile and I really like using them as my own “Designer Series Paper” for backgrounds. Since the last card I made using this set was super bright, I thought I’d tone it down a little and focus on purples. So happy with this!

Stamp and Ink Free Petal Garden, Part 6

Welcome to Part 6 of my Petal Garden cards.

Today we wrap up this stamp and ink free series with a big, bold rose from the Memories & More Card Pack. It’s a die cut sticker adhered to Pool Party Cardstock, which was die cut with the Layering Circles Framelits and a Calypso Coral scalloped circle from the same die set. I wanted a little bow, but didn’t want to wrap the Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine around the whole card front. So, I made a quick quadruple looped bow and adhered it with a glue dot.

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at these cards as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Today’s cards also feature cards with lovely sentiments front and center. Again, we have the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch on the first card, but only peeking out of the left side. It makes a nice accent. The second card has the sentiment popped up with the Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine “anchoring” it to the top and bottom.

Stamp and Ink Free Petal Garden, Part 1

The Petal Garden suite on pages 56-57 in the Annual Catalog holds a special place in my heart. It evokes wonderful memories of my Grandma. She loved anything with roses or the scent of roses. I had such a special bond with her. Even as a teenager, I looked forward to spending weekends at her house. She loved the same things I did – homemade facial masks, new recipes, Rummy 500…

I decided to use the Memories and More card pack for all of these cards. The Memories and More card pack contains 72 double-sided printed cardstock in two sizes, as well as die cut embellishments.  They are typically used for scrapbooking, but I love the ease of using them for cards as well. Believe it or not, there was no ink or stamping involved with any of these! I sat down and got into a zone…and ended up with 10 cards. I’m going to share them a couple at a time throughout the next few blog posts. Below are the supplies listed for all 10 cards.

Today’s two cards feature the Old Olive 1/8” Sheer Ribbon, which makes the perfect accent, along with the Pearls. The second card features the Lovely Words Thinlits that die cut beautifully. Two sweet cards that anyone would appreciate receiving.
