A Touch of Tulips with The Joy of Sets Blog Hop

It’s time once again for a super fun blog hop with my fellow The Joy of Sets hoppers! Scroll to the end to see the complete list of hoppers. Our theme this month is anything Easter or Spring. What a perfect time for tulips! My mother has always loved yellow tulips, so she is the inspiration for this card.  I adore this fun fold and thought it was perfect for the flowers. I used the Tulip Builder Punch with a sticky note to create a mask so that I could have some of the flowers in the background without stamping over the foreground.

Poppies and Laughter Sneak Peek

I finally had a chance to ink up some new stamp sets from the Spring Mini 2020 catalog. When I first saw the Peaceful Poppies Suite, it seemed a bit busy for me. At the nudging of a friend, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The Designer Series Paper has some larger, busier prints, but I opted for the sweet field of little poppies to highlight this card. The sentiment from Thanks for the Laughs fits perfectly in the Label Me Lovely Punch with the little poppies below it and I decided to adhere it with Black Dimensionals so nothing stands out if you inspect if from the side. The Basic Black twine in the Country Club Twine Combo Pack is perfect as it keeps the focus on the sentiment. I can’t wait for you to get your hands on this suite!
