May Your Day Be Touched By Some Irish Luck!

Last year I was about 20% Irish, according to Ancestry.com. They keep changing it on me and now it’s down to 2%. But that’s ok…because any of us can have some Irish luck! Whether you celebrate with shamrock socks (you know I am!) or some green beer, I am wishing you a pot of gold this St. Patrick’s Day!

I made a few of these cards…they were super easy with the Lucky Clover Punch. Unfortunately, the punch has been sold out almost since it was first released, but you can still easily free-hand cut it out with some Paper Snips. It’s a great stamp set that can be used to send good luck greetings any time throughout the year!

Polished Roses

I am not a motorcycle enthusiast, so the Ready to Ride Suite on pages 69-70 of the mini catalog didn’t really catch my eye at first. After a bit, though, the Let it Ride Specialty Designer Series Paper did finally catch my eye as I hadn’t even realized roses were mixed in with the masculine designs. And for them to be matte on shiny black is so unique! So glad I bought this DSP! I chose Polished Pink as the highlight color. I embossed the sentiment with Black Embossing Powder on the Polished Pink. I cut a strip 1/2″ x 2 5/8″ and punched the end with the Happy Labels Pick a Punch. I also didn’t want to distract from the paper, so I kept the embellishment super simple – one 2021-2023 In Color Opal Round. To keep any white from seeping in, I opted to use the Black Dimensionals so you don’t see any white from the side angles. Note – because of the smoothness of this DSP, I recommend not using any liquid glue as you will be able to see the lines of it come through. I used Stampin’ Seal + and it stayed smooth. I am loving this card…so striking!

Country Bouquet Mystery Stamping

Oh my! So much has been happening in my life that I haven’t kept up with posting here and for that I am sorry. I will try to do better and what better way to get back into it than with a card made with awesome new goodies?!? This Country Bouquet bundle and coordinating Country Floral Lane DSP is from the up-and-coming January to April 2023 Mini Catalog. It has such an 80s vibe with the style and colors and I am loving the nostalgic feel it gives me! The Happy Labels Pick-a-Punch is also from the new mini and you can create labels that are ½”, ¾” and 1” wide and of any length. So versatile! I’m not sure what the name of the card fold is, but I created it during a Mystery Stamping event. Super easy and fast!
