Subtle Breathtaking Bouquet on Vellum

The colors of this card are totally opposite of yesterday’s rich, dark tones. This is a light, pretty card that reminds me of bunnies and weddings. Yeah…I know…where do I come up with this stuff? This card focuses on the background. The stamp is called Breathtaking Bouquet and is in the 2020 Spring Mini catalog. I won it at a Stampin’ Up event and wasn’t really sure what to do with it. I searched online and decided I really liked it embossed. I chose to emboss it on a Petal Pink piece of vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum cardstock in the Annual Catalog. I used the Stamparatus positioning tool so that I could make sure the Versamark ink got everywhere it should. Sprinkled on the White embossing powder…hit it with the heat tool…and voila! A stunning background for a lovely Birthday card. The sentiment is from the set Magnolia Blooms, which is actually not in the catalog, but a brochure called Experience Creativity (you can see the PDF on my Catalogs tab). It coordinates perfectly with the Good Morning Magnolia suite. That is stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White, die cut with a circle and layered on a piece of Petal Pink punched with Label Me Lovely. A simple double ribbon and an accent of a silver Designer Element finish off the card.
