The color refresh has been announced and we’ll be saying goodbye to some wonderful favorites including Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. As I was removing the colors from my ink caddy, I sighed. I love the new colors, but I’m still going to miss the old ones. I made sure I bought a pack of cardstock for all the colors. Make sure you grab your favorites before they are sold out! There’s also a ton of goodies on the Last Chance list with savings of up to 60% off! Just remember, though, that once they are gone, they are gone for good!

This card has a full background layer (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) that I embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. If you don’t have that one in your stash, use any that has a subtle texture. The next layer is from the Dainty Flowers DSP. I love the watercolor look and feel. I added a sprig die cut from Pear Pizzazz and next is the gold Simply Elegant Trim (comes in a twin pack with silver, too). Topped that with a die cut that I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. Topped all the flowers with Wink of Stella and added the sentiment and Opal rounds. I really like how pretty this card is. However, the next one I think I’ll emboss the sentiment in white on the dark cardstock and then die cut (omitting the oval punch). What do you think?
