Stained Glass Duo

The Graceful Glass Suite is so eye-catching. The stained glass look is so gothic and regal – especially when you use the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to color the vellum.

Here is a card with a layout I cased from a sample featured in the Demonstrator magazine called Stampin’ Success. The tone-on-tone of layering an embossed piece of cardstock onto the same color card base is so classy here. I just love it!

Stained Glass Thank You
Stamp Set:  Painted Glass
Cardstock:  Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Specialty Paper:  Graceful Glass Vellum
Ink:  Old Olive
Stampin’ Blends: Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Pool Party
Lovelies:  3/8” Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon
Tools:  Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, Petals & More Thinlits, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform

For the bookmark, I first mounted the Graceful Glass Vellum onto Whisper White. It didn’t look right because I colored the frame of the vellum in Light Crumb Cake. I carefully removed it and tried it on Very Vanilla instead. It was perfect! I’m definitely liking this much better. The Detailed Trio Punch made the bookmark shape a breeze.
