I am so excited to participate in my first blog hop! There is a wonderful International group on Facebook called The Joy of Sets and everyone is welcome to join! You have hopped to my site from Alejandra Gomez’s and next up after me is Angie McKenzie’s. You can click on the arrows at the bottom of the blog post to continue on your hoppy way. This month’s topic is anything new from the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog. I have used two new stamp sets, one new color, one new ribbon and a new framelits set…such fun!
A coworker asked me to make a Birthday card for her friend…who just happens to be a Stampin’ Up demonstrator like me. I know this lovely Birthday lady, as our daughters were on the same travel soccer team together a few years ago. As soon as I sat down to make a card, the creative juices flowed freely. This is the first time I inked up the Abstract Impressions stamp set and I am in love! It’s just so pretty!
Below is a close up shot of the gorgeous Poppy Parade Mini Striped Ribbon…and as you look at the photo, perhaps you’ll notice the added stitching on the Flirty Flamingo cardstock strip, complements of one of the decorative embossing dies in the Stitched Labels Framelits. That collection of framelits also includes the beautiful framed piece with striking detail as well.
This photo of the inside of the card shows how perfectly the sentiment in Detailed with Love coordinates with the Abstract Impressions set. And we pull it all together with a matching stamped envelope.
