It’s time for another The Joy of Sets Blog Hop and I am finally able to participate again. The last time was June…shame on me! Our theme for January is “Something New” and boy, oh boy, do I have some new things! I decided to use the Honey Bee Bundle on page 30 of the new Spring Mini along with the coordinating Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper I earned for free in the Sale-a-Bration brochure (page 10). I decided to use more fun, free goodies by also using the So Saffron/Gold Bakers Twine and Sequins from the combo pack available on page 7.
When I put all the products in front of me, I just knew I wanted a fun fold for this card. I decided on the Joy Fold. It’s been a couple years since I made one and I don’t know why…it’s so quick and easy and really adds a lot. I made sure to use the Black Dimensionals for the bees and hive so you don’t see glaring white against the black and gold. I topped all the bees with Wink of Stella. Visit Splitcoast Stampers here for the Joy Fold tutorial.
